By accessing or using the Services, you consent to our collection, and use, disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. You must not access or use the Services if you do not agree with our Privacy Policy.
What information do we collect and how we use it?
How we collect your information depends in part on how you use the Services. We may store the information you submit to or through our Services, as well as information we collect in connection with your use of our Services.
We may use the information to fulfill your requests, provide the functionality and improve the quality of Services, personalize your experience, track usage of our Services, provide feedback to businesses that are listed on the Services, display relevant advertising, provide customer support, message you, back up our systems and allow for disaster recovery, enhance the security of the Services, and comply with relevant legal obligations.
Among the information we collect, please note:
Account Information
When you sign up for or use our services, you voluntarily give us certain information. This can include your name, profile photo, username, password, email address you used to sign up, and any other information you provide or post on our Services. If you’re using Ofadaa on your mobile device, you can also choose to provide us with location data.
You also may give us permission to access your information in other services. For example, you may link your Google Plus, Facebook or Twitter account to Ofadaa, which allows us to obtain information from those accounts (like your friends or contacts). The information we get from those services often depends on your settings or their privacy policies. We encourage you to consult directly with such third-parties about their privacy practices.
Public Content
The information that you post on our services is intended for public consumption, including your ratings, reviews, tips, photos, comments, likes, bookmarks, friends and lists (collectively, "User Contributions"). We may display this information on our Services, share it with businesses, and further distribute it to a wider audience through third party sites and services.
You should be careful about revealing any sensitive details about yourself in such postings.
Contacts
You may have the option to request your friends to join Ofadaa by providing their contact information. If you request a friend to join and connect with you on our Services, we will only use your friend’s contact information to process your request.
Communications
When you sign up for an account, you are opting in to receive emails from other ofadaa users, businesses, and Ofadaa itself. You can follow the “unsubscribe” instructions in commercial email messages. Please note that you cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative notices, service notices, or legal notices from Ofadaa.
Transactional Information
If you make reservations or purchases through our Services, we may collect and store certain information about you to process your requests and populate forms for future transactions, such as your phone number, address, email, and credit or payment card information. This information may be shared with third-parties who help in processing and fulfilling your requests. When you submit credit or payment card information, we encrypt that information using industry standard technologies. If you write reviews about businesses with which you conduct transactions through our Services, we may publicly display information that you transacted with those businesses.
User Activity
We may store information about your use of our Services, such as your search activity, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the businesses you call using our mobile applications. We also may store information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of our Services, such as your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs.
Cookies
We, and third parties with whom we partner, may use cookies, web beacons, mobile device IDs, “flash cookies” and similar files or technologies to collect and store information in respect to your use of the Services and third party websites. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer that enables us to recognize you (for example, as a registered user) when you visit our website, store your preferences and settings, enhance your experience by delivering content and advertising specific to your interests, perform research and analytics, track your use of our Services, and assist with security and administrative functions. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session.
It may be possible to disable some (but not all) Cookies through your device or browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use our Services. The method for disabling cookies may vary by device and browser, but can usually be found in preferences or security settings.
Third parties whose products or services are accessible or advertised through the Services, including social media services, may also use cookies or similar tools, and we advise you to check their privacy policies for information about their cookies and other practices. We do not control the practices of such partners and their privacy policies govern their interactions with you.
Third Parties
We may share information about you with third parties as follows:
Tailored Advertising
We may allow third parties whose products or services are accessible or advertised via the Services to use cookies or similar technologies to collect the same type of information for the same purposes as Ofadaa does for itself. They may be able to associate the information they collect with other information they have about you from other sources. We do not necessarily have access to or control over the Cookies they use, but you may be able to opt-out of some of their practices by visiting Network Advertising Initiative and/or Digital Advertising Alliance. Please note that to the extent advertising technology is integrated into the Services, you may still receive ads even if you opt-out of tailored advertising. In that case, the ads will just not be tailored to your interests. Also, we do not control any of the above opt-out links and are not responsible for any choices you make using these mechanisms or the continued availability or accuracy of these mechanisms
Service Providers
Some of the services we offer such as dinner reservations and food delivery, may be provided by third-party providers. We may also outsource some of Ofadaa’s functions to third-party providers, such as customer support, tracking and reporting functions, quality assurance testing, payment processing functions, conducting surveys or organizing sweepstakes and other services. We may share information from or about you with these third-party providers so that they can perform their services or complete your requests.
Aggregate Information
We may share user information in the aggregate with third parties, such as advertisers and content distributors. For example, we may disclose the number of users that have been exposed to, or clicked on, advertisements.
Business Transfer
We may share information from or about you with subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy. If another company acquires Ofadaa or all or substantially all of our assets, that company will possess the same information, and will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information shared with Restaurants on Ofadaa
We may share information from or about you and your use of our Services (such as which businesses you bookmark or dining preferences) with Restaurants on Ofadaa.

We do not control the privacy practices of restaurants. Please contact the restaurant directly if you want to learn about its privacy practices.
Legal Purposes
We may investigate and disclose information from or about you if we have a good faith belief that such investigation or disclosure is (a) reasonably necessary to comply with legal process; (b) helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with our Services; or (c) protect our rights, reputation, property, or that of our users, affiliates, or the public. This may involve the sharing of your information with law enforcement, government agencies, courts, and/or other organizations on account of legal request such as subpoena, court order or government demand to comply with the law.

Your interactions with social media companies are governed by their privacy policies.
Controlling your Personal Data
Other users may be able to identify you, or associate you with your account if you include personal information in the content you post publicly. You can reduce the risk of being personally identified by using our Services pseudonymously, though doing so could detract from the credibility of your contributions to our Services.
Please also note that the messages you send or receive using our Services are only private to the extent that both you and the sender/recipient keep them private. For example, we do not have any control over whether a recipient of one of your messages publicly posts it or its contents. Similarly, Ofadaa may also access such messages in the course of investigations relating to use of our Services.
Data Retention and Account Termination
You can close your account by contacting us here. We will remove your public posts from view and/or dissociate them from your account profile, but we may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law. Thereafter, we will either delete your personal information or de-identify it so that it is anonymous and not attributed to your identity. For example, we may retain information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service or to comply with legal obligations.
If you delete your User Contributions from our websites, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users of our websites. Proper access and use of information provided on our websites, including User Contributions, is governed by our Terms of Use.
Children under 13
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us here. If we become aware that a person submitting personal information is under 13, we will delete the account and any related information as soon as possible.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
