Per the usual happenings, I had this craving that just wouldn’t go away. I was really craving a beef burger from Street Café, but I didn’t really have the chance to go there. I was on my way to Fusion Lifestyle fair and lo and behold I see this food truck that’s right in the park. I’ve noticed it before, but it always looked like it was closed to me. I stopped by as I waited for my friend and looked at their menu….seemed legit. They had quite a few burger choices so I said I would be back on my way out of the fair.
When I went back, I ordered a cheese burger (₦800). I waited maybe about 5-7 minutes for it to be ready. I was kinda hungry, but more so just wanting to fill this craving. The disappointment when I opened the burger wrapping was too real. First of all, I didn’t really see any cheese on it , and second of all, the beef patty was sooooo tiny compared to the bun it was on. Serious rip off of my money. I had no choice but to eat it. I’m not sure what kind of mayo they used or sauce but it was way too sweet and the whole burger was not even hot. I was sitting there wondering why I even had to wait 5-7 minutes for a cold burger. So upsetting!!
The guy who took my order was very pretty nice and respectful, but mehn…that place needs to change quick or shut down. I’ll stick to my Street Café from here on out.
