Auntie Muni Waakye

Auntie Muni's Waakye operates one of the most famous and popular food stalls in Accra. The spot is an open cafe on the side of the road in Cantonments (no physical building) and only operates on the weekends. Waakye is a hearty rice and beans dish served with a black chilli sauce. Renowned for her delicious dishes and welcoming personality, Auntie Muni's food stall has attracted a wide range of famous patrons including ex-presidents, politicians and celebrities in Ghana.
