Bistro 7 is a casual comfortable dining spot that serves good hearty brunch and lunch meals. With options to dine both indoors and outdoors, Bistro 7 is a versatile venue which also caters to private parties (subjected to minimum spend). Food selection is geared more to the continental cuisine, from pasta to chicken cordon bleu.
Favorite dishes include the mushroom cappuccino soup, Chicken Corden Bleu, the Feta Rolls and pasta. Always comfortable to come around for a meal, but note that the quality of the dishes can be rather inconsistent. Might just be my taste buds being cranky on days.
Easily my favourite brunch place although I have not ventured beyond that on their menu. Their coffee is temperamental and if you go on a weekday the staff seem to sleep walk. On the days they are on point they are very on point, on the days they are bad it's mieh.
When they get their cooking right, they do it so well...their croque madame, on a good day, is divine.
But on their bad days, you end up with a spoon full of salty rubbish wondering if they confused ravioli with rubbery trash. Don't even get me started on their bolognese pasta dish. That's a pretty easy dish to make and I couldn't believe how badly they messed it up.
So far, I've had 50:50 of both sides of the coin and their bad days supersedes their good days in quality of dishes.
They need to sort out their temperamental cooking issues asap.
Nice ambiance but the food is not as great. Good place to hang out but don't go for the culinary greatness.
Only ever had breakfast here........and it has been a great experience every time. It is a nice open, light, cafe. Not too many people are around, which makes it serene. I would highly recommend their full english breakfast.
