Hans & Rene is a home-grown Nigerian brand and was originally a funny play on the names of our founder's twin sons. Hans & Rene opened Lagos' first Gelataria in 2015 serving freshly made gelato and cupcakes. Founded by Tayo Bolodeoku, our chief pastry baker, Hans & Rene uses the freshest ingredients and lots of imagination to create the perfect gelato flavours and cupcakes from scratch everyday. Our delectably smooth butter cream icings are the finishing touch to our wide variety of tantalizing flavors. From conception through creation and into oven, each cupcake treat from Hans & Rene is truly a labour of love!
