Reviews for The Tea Room

  • Although the Tea Room is a beautiful establishment, I think the management needs to work on its ethics and quality of customer service. I recently visited the restaurant with my Spouse to enquire about taking pre-wedding photos, because I didn't want to assume it would be fine to take pictures without seeking permission from the management. I enquired with one of the staff about taking the pre-wedding pictures and asked if we could speak to the manager. We were informed that we could actually speak with the CEO instead, only for the staff member to return and say that the CEO was not around to listen to our enquiry. This was contrary to the fact that we actually saw her while we walked into the restaurant and saw her again when we were leaving. I felt this kind of treatment towards customers was uncalled for and quite disrespectful. We were so excited to visit the Tea Room and the least the CEO could have done was to give us a welcoming reception. My partner and I left the restaurant feeling very disappointed.
